Well played, both players. If White had played 12. f4 threatening Nxf7, the outcome might have been different! Also, 32. Rf7 would have made life very difficult for Black. | |

Right up to the end game I thought Barry played well, made you sweat Ken I reckon, good game to play through, stuff going on both sides of the board, I wasn't looking for finer details but it was really interesting, pity I knew the result before I played through the game, a bit like reading a book by reading the last chapter first, good result Ken. No doubt, a game Phil will be playing through during the summer, while thinking of his team selection for his title winning team next season, great General's never go into battle without a plan. | |
