Cookworthy Cup 2015-16
Congratulations to Steve Levy - Cookworthy Cup winner for the 2015-16 season.
The Cookworthy Cup is the club's knockout competition. Standard time controls will apply. In the event of a draw, the winner will determined by a rapidplay game with 15 minutes on each clock; a player declining to play the rapidplay game on the night will be deemed to be the loser.
In the 2015-16 Cookworthy Cup, seven palyers will enter the quarter finals automatically: the six players in the Homan League at the start of the season, plus the top-graded player in the Dunleavy League (Dennis Russell). There will be a preliminary competition to determine the eighth quarter-finalist.
Preliminary Competition
Five players entered the draw for the preliminary competition. The top-graded of these (James Fowler) progresses straight to the final of the preliminary competition; the other four players will play two rounds to determine James' opponent in the final.

Roy Greenhalgh, as the winner of the preliminary competition (he drew against James Fowler in the Final but won the Rapidplay playoff), progresses to the main competition, where he is drawn against Cliff Peach.
